Books I Read in April & May

I have definitely slacked in reading in April and May. Instead of a book a week, I did a book each two weeks :( I'm bound and determined to read more in June. I'm currently reading Bloodlines by Richelle Mead and Captive by Aimee Carter - both of which are great so far!

Unbelievable (Pretty Little Liars, #4)PerfectedFrozen (Heart of Dread, #1)Pretty Little Secrets: a Pretty Little Liars Collection

Unbelievable by Sara Shepard - 4 stars (finished 4/8)
This is the 4th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Much like each episode of PLL, each book is getting more and more suspenseful. Hanna got a little more likeable in this book and finally they are starting to come together as the group of girls I'm used to seeing. Jenna's POV of "The Night" definitely surprised me, as well as, the secret pal that was also there that night. Wilden is way different in the books too, or at least so far. Must. Read. Next. Book.

Perfected by Kate Jarvik Birch - 5 stars (finished 4/23)
Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

The premise of these girls being "bred" to be pets is quite interesting. The story had great plot and character building. I assume by the ending that there will be a sequel and hope that it gives a little more history and world building. :)

Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz - DNF at 25%
Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

The POV is hard to follow and the plot hasn't picked up a fourth of the way in.

Pretty Little Secrets by Sara Shepard - 3.5 stars (finished 5/28)
This is a novella that follows book four and chronicles the PLLs' holiday vacation. Nice to see what the PLLs are doing during the holiday break. Aria & Spencer had some very juicy holidays :)

What have you read recently?
