Synopsis:
Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same. Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after...

My Thoughts:
I started The Dream Thieves immediately after finishing The Raven Boys. I was pleased to see that Stiefvater was choosing to write more about Ronan. I know he was a mega jerk, but there's such a past there and so many questions about Ronan and his family. This one was a little slower than the first book for me and a little more confusing. And, of course, I didn't take notes for it at all, so it's even harder to relay my reasons for saying all of that.

I will say that about midway through the book, it really picked up and I couldn't stop reading - which is why this book gets 4 stars instead of 3. I wasn't sure about the Gray Man at first, but came to really enjoy the chapters with his part of the story included. Ronan's ability to pull things from his dreams were some very intense and crazy moments.

I felt there wasn't enough Blue and Gansey though and they are my faves. I'm not a big fan of Adam's character - he's a bit wishywashy for my tastes. But I am excited to read on and find out what becomes of all of them!
